" Los bachateros Romeo Santos y Prince Royce encabezan la lista de los artistas más nominados a los premios Billboard de la Música Latina 2014, que se entregarán el jueves 24 de abril durante una gala que se celebrará en Miami (EE.UU.), según dieron a conocer hoy sus organizadores.Santos es finalista en 17 categorías, entre las que destacan la de Artista del Año, Compositor del Año y Productor del Año, mientras que Royce compite en 16 categorías que incluyen la de Artista del Año Solista y Álbum Tropical del Año por dos de sus producciones: "#1s" y "Soy el mismo".
La lista de las estrellas con múltiples nominaciones incluye además al salsero boricua Marc Anthony, que compite por quince premios y la desaparecida cantante regional mexicana Jenni Rivera, que lo hace por once.
Entre las nominaciones de la llamada Diva de la Banda, fallecida en diciembre de 2012 en accidente aéreo, destacan la de Artista del Año y Álbum Regional Mexicano del Año por los discos "1969-Siempre: En Vivo Desde Monterrey: Parte 1", "La Misma Gran Señora" y "Joyas Prestadas: Banda".
La lista de finalistas, anunciada hoy en una conferencia de prensa en Miami, incluye además al artista urbano Daddy Yankee y al español Enrique Iglesias, que empatan con siete nominaciones cada uno.
Entre las estrellas que más nominaciones alcanzaron este año también se encuentran dos de los máximos exponentes de la música mexicana, Alejandro Fernández y La Arrolladora Banda El Limón de René Camacho, con seis nominaciones cada uno.
El cantautor de corridos Gerardo Ortiz y el grupo de música norteña Voz de Mando compiten en cinco categorías, coincidiendo en Canción Regional Mexicana del Año por "Dámaso" e "Y ahora resulta", respectivamente.
Los tres finalistas a cuatro premios pertenecen al género urbano: Alexis & Fido, Don Omar y el ex dúo de Wisin & Yandel, mientras que la cantante Christina Aguilera y Yandel, en su carrera como solista, compiten por tres premios cada uno.
Los artistas con dos nominaciones cada una incluyen al tenor italiano Andrea Bocelli, que compite en la categoría de Álbum Pop Latino del Año, con el disco "Pasión", y en la de Latin Pop Albums como Artista del Año Solista.
El cantautor colombiano Carlos Vives también compite por el premio al Álbum Pop Latino del Año con "Corazón profundo", mientras que la bachatera urbana Leslie Grace y la baladista mexicana Thalía se disputan el premio Hot Latin Songs como Artista del Año Femenina.
Un bachatero y cuatro exponentes de la música regional mexicana compiten por el premio al Compositor del Año. Ellos son Romeo Santos, Espinoza Paz, Gerardo Ortiz y Luciano Luna Díaz.
Asimismo, los artistas nominados al premio "Artista del Año, Redes Sociales" son Enrique Iglesias, el rapero cubanoamericano Pitbull, Prince Royce y Shakira.
El premio al Artista Crossover del Año, que reconoce a aquel que logró trascender la barrera del idioma, le será entregado a uno de los cuatro finalistas: Christina Aguilera, Rihanna, Robin Thicke o Bruno Mars, de origen hispano y quien actuó este fin de semana en el intermedio de la Super Bowl, en un programa seguido por 111,5 millones de personas.
Como todos los años, Billboard también entregará premios en categorías especiales, incluida la de Espíritu de la Esperanza, Salón de la Fama y Trayectoria Artística, que en años anteriores les fueron entregados a José José, Intocable, Shakira, Ricardo Montaner, Emmanuelle y Miguel Bosé, entre otras consagradas figuras de la música hispana.
Estos galardones honran a la música latina y sus exponentes en más de cuarenta categorías de acuerdo con su desempeño en las listas de ventas y con su popularidad, así como por su difusión en radio e internet. EFE

Para la esperada velada en nuestra Capital Bocelli compartirá escenario con el grupo español Carisma y Marta Sánchez y tendrá como marco musical a la Orquesta Sinfónica Juvenil "Sinfonía por el Perú", ONG que lidera Juan Diego Flórez, perfilándose como uno de los conciertos más esperados de este 2013.
La cita queda pactada para este 28 de setiembre en el Estadio Nacional. Las entradas están a la venta en Teleticket de Wong y Metro con el 10 % de descuento con tarjetas CMR.

"El gobierno de dicho país publicó una lista de las canciones que están prohibidas de compartir en la red.El Ministerio de Cultura de China ha publicado, por tercera vez en lo que va del año, una lista de cien canciones que estarán prohibidas para compartir en las redes del país asiático, entre las que figuran canciones como "Judas" de Lady Gaga, "Last Friday Night" de Katy Perry y cuatro éxitos de Take That.
También se encuentran melodías de grupos como Owl City, Simple Plan y Natalie Walker, así como "Burning Up" de Britney Spears y "I Want It That Way" de Backstreet Boys, que deberán retirarse de la red antes del 15 de setiembre.
Según un comunicado del ministerio en su web oficial, las canciones no cumplen el reglamento necesario y "dañan la seguridad cultural del país", eufemismos con los que las autoridades chinas suelen censurar temas cuyos contenidos son considerados demasiado eróticos o de "mal gusto."
La lista contiene también muchas canciones chinas y taiwanesas, así como algún éxito de Japón. En enero, las autoridades de Cultura publicaron una lista similar, que en aquella ocasión vetó ocho melodías de Christina Aguilera, cuatro de Kylie Minogue, cinco de Eminem y tres de Bruno Mars, entre otros artistas.
MUCHAS CONTINÚAN OYÉNDOSE
En marzo, una nueva lista prohibía en la red china el "Hold My Hand" de Michael Jackson, tres canciones de Avril Lavigne (quien en alguna ocasión ha actuado en China) y hasta cuatro melodías en español: "Soledad," "En paz descanse," "Alguien te va a hacer llorar" y "Aire", del grupo tejano Intocables.
China es el país con más internautas del mundo, con casi 500 millones, pero también es uno de los que ejerce mayor control sobre los contenidos de la red. Muchas veces, no obstante, esta censura tiene escasos efectos prácticos, y estas canciones "prohibidas" continúan oyéndose en las radios del país o son bajadas con facilidad desde webs nacionales o de otros países.
