" Hollywood sigue exprimiendo el mundo del cómic y por suerte no todo gira en torno a superhéroes. Diez años después de comprar los derechos y fracasar la opción de David O. Russell, Universal Pictures ha encontrado en Tom McCarthy y John Bland a los encargados perfectos para dar forma al guion de "Tommysaurus Rex", la adaptación cinematográfica de la obra de Doug TenNapel.
Publicada en 2004 por Image Comics, "Tommysaurus Rex" cuenta la historia de un chico que tras perder a su perro descubre un tiranosaurio en estado de hibernación en una cueva, y a partir de entonces forja una fuerte amistad con el animal, cambiando su vida por completo. El sueño del 50% de los críos. La otra mitad preferiría un robot gigante…
Se espera que McCarthy lleve los mandos de la dirección aunque de momento no está confirmado. El escritor, actor y director, conocido por producciones independientes como "Vías cruzadas" ("The Station Agent", 2003) o "The Visitor" (2007), finalizó hace poco el rodaje de "The Cobbler", con Adam Sandler, Dustin Hoffman, Steve Buscemi y Ellen Barkin encabezando el reparto.

"Ya se anunciaron los nominados a la edición 33 de los Razzie Awards. Twilight Breaking Dawn Part 2 , ha sido nominada en todas… TODAS las categorías. Tiene 11 nominaciones en 10 categorías, incluyendo, Peor Película, Director, Actriz Principal, Actor Principal… (debo continuar?). También fueron nominadas la película de Adam Sandler, "That"s my boy", con ocho nominaciones y "Batttleship" con siete (Bahahaaha Rihanna nominada a peor actriz de reparto!). Kristen Stewart está nominada como Peor Actriz, por su papel en Breaking Dawn Part 2 y en Snow White… El film Breaking Dawn Part 2 es pésimo, pero qué importa… vieron cuánto recaudó en taquilla? Tal parece que hay muchísima gente que no aprecian las verdaderas y buenas producciones cinematográficas… So, den un vistazo a la lista de nominados. Go!
